Farmyard Fundraiser - Blanc de Blanc
Hand-crafted using traditional Methode Champenoise techniques, the Gisborne Chardonnay fruit was targeted for this wine and harvested at a typical moderate sugar and high acid concentrations. Secondary fermentation in-bottle and a generous 18 month in Tirage has resulted in a complex and elegant wine.
Showing elegant baking bread and citrus aromas on the nose, this fuller styled Methode displays developed fruit flavours over a citrus core on the palate. Well balanced and with a pleasant finish, this bottle fermented wine has a fine, persistent bubble.
